About Me
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” — Eleanor Roosevelt
Since I was about eight years old, technology has been my playground. Growing up in Haiti, I immersed myself in hands-on learning by dismantling and reassembling computers. This early experimentation ignited a deep curiosity about how things work.
A Magical Discovery
In 2021, typing my first line of HTML felt like magic. It was a transformative moment, as if a veil had lifted and I had stepped into a world where I could turn ideas into reality.
Exploring web development platforms like Shopify was just the start. Diving into the complexities of services and microservices was both challenging and exhilarating. Each day, I strive to push boundaries and achieve new milestones.
Dropping out of school in 2015 was a setback, but it also sparked a renewed sense of purpose. Returning to school with a clear vision, I pursued my passions with determination, overcoming numerous rejections along the way.
I leveraged my LinkedIn network, reaching out to software engineers and like-minded individuals. This relentless effort led to securing a valuable referral, validating my skills and perseverance.
My journey is ongoing, with each step bringing me closer to my goals. Embracing failure as a learning opportunity, I am committed to growth. My recent focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) has been transformative, shaping my path to success.
With the support of resources like Hack.Diversity, I am dedicated to evolving into the best version of myself. The future is bright, and I am ready to seize it with passion and resilience.
